Celebrate Chinese New Year 2015

Celebrate Chinese New Year in Singapore’s Jubilee year. Check out these places as you usher in the new year.

River Hongbao 2015
Enjoy free admission to the 12-day carnival at The Float@ Marina Bay from Feb 17 to 28.
Some of the highlights of the carnival include tightrope-walking, lantern displays and photo exhibition of Chinese New Year celebrations by Singaporeans in the past. Check out the food street, theme night and fireworks display on Feb 17 (at 8pm) and 18 (at midnight).

Visit Chinatown’s Festive Street
You will be greeted with the goat and gold coin lanterns at the street lightup. Catch them till March 19.

Chingay Parade
Be dazzled with the annual street procession this Chinese New Year.
Some of the new highlights this year:
1. Features the most number of international performers this year for Singapore’s 50th birthday.
2. Meet the biggest number of volunteers and performers this year.  They are also the youngest performers ever from schools and other groups.
3. Catch Chingay at Orchard Road where a street carnival will be lined up on March 1.
