What do you do with the broken / worn out crayon bits?

Use a knife (adults should be doing this part) and chop them into smaller pieces. Then take a baking tray, either heart shape or whatever shape you have, and fill them up. Set to 230 degrees, 15minutes and let it bake in the oven.

Presto, you have recycled loose crayon parts into a new Heart-Shape Crayon. Perfect for giveaways in class for your little ones.

P.s       Oil based crayons or waxed based crayons preferred. Do not melt plastic bits as the fumes can be toxic.
